Obituary of Annette Estelle Bellemore (née Roy)
MAMAN chérie, MÉMÉ chérie.
A sweet, kind, wonderful woman has left us.
Une femme gentille et généreuse.
La plus jolie au monde!
The most lovely Annette Bellemore (née Roy) left us on March 5, 2025, with the utmost grace and peace, now reunited with her husband of 68 years, Bernard (2017) and baby Annette Marie (1963).
Predeceased by her devoted parents Ida and Alfred Roy, and her amazing and always-entertaining ten brothers and sisters.
Annette's glorious one hundred years were spent in good health in mind and body, with her wit and good humour intact until the very end.
Annette's vivacity and spark will be greatly missed by her children Donna Bellemore, Allan Bellemore, Cheryl Bellemore (Brian Brunelle), Colette Kern ("favourite son-in-law" John), and Nicole Bellemore. Extraordinary and loving Mémé of Allison Boggs (Geoff), Alana Bellemore, Kelly Ouellette (Joe), Stefan Kern (Hailey), Christian Kern (Savannah), and Little Mémé of Avery, Trinity, Dallas, Weston, Emery, Ellis and Nathan. She will be missed by her sister-in-law Beatrice Roy, many nieces, nephews and extended family, and a flurry of friends acquired over her illustrious life.
Annette left our family with a beautiful legacy of cherished memories. She guided our family throughout life’s many chapters. Her nurturing skills were always in the forefront. As a mother, she shaped us with a moral compass to proceed carefully and confidently into the world. She was our greatest cheerleader. This is why our Mother was such a beautiful role model.
She held many titles, including wife, supporter, care-giver and listener. Her activities of baking, reading, walking, gardening and decorating shaped the person she became: an individual who could stand in her own spotlight! Annette was also a life long member of the Catholic Women's League (St. Gregory the Great Parish) and the Kay-Celles (St. William's Parish, Emeryville/Belle River District).
