Obituary of Russell Robinson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Ed Robinson, 71. Son of the Late Russell (1990) and Rosemary (2014).

Confidante to Collette and loving father to Melissa (Scott) and Brad (Kelly). Devoted Papa to Peyton, Sophia, Preston and Avery.

Cherished brother to Pat and Ron (2021), Jimmy (2017) and Shirley, Glendora, Jerry (1948), Wayne (1972) and Shirley, Margaret, Neil and Rose, Darcy (1979) and Gerry Chittle. Best friend to Kevin and Sandy. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Eddie will be sadly missed by the Renaud, Poulson families and his many friends and neighbours.

Ed was retired from General Motors. He had a meticulous passion for detail. He was proud of his South Walkerville home where its curb appeal was the envy of many in the neighborhood. He took immense pride in his handiwork and enjoyed building and creating in his workshop. There wasn’t anything he could not create, build or repair.

Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Road East 519-253-7234 on Friday March 07 2025 from 11:30am-2:30pm until time of chapel service immediately thereafter. Cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to kindly ask that donations be made to Windsor Goodfellows in Ed’s honour.
