SOULLIERE, Margaret Mary (nee Powell)
It is with deep love that we announce the passing of Margaret Soulliere, who left us on February 25, 2025. Margaret’s warmth and kindness touched the hearts of all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion. Reunited with her beloved husband Omer Soulliere (2021). Loving mother of Denise Rychel (Ryan), Susan (Michael) Stoyshin, Theresa St. Pierre, Robert (Celina) St. Pierre. Adored Meme of Nicola, Kerby (Tessa), Maddux, Kendall, Julian, Selena, Great Meme of Sloan. Daughter of the late Arthur and Bernadette Powell. Dear sister of 8 siblings and sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Born with an innate ability to brighten the lives of those around her, Margaret found joy in the simplest of things, especially her cherished game of bingo, where she celebrated not just the wins but the camaraderie and laughter shared with friends and family. Her positivity was infectious, making her a beacon of hope and joy in challenging times.
As a dedicated Minister at her local Catholic church, Margaret devoted much of her life to mentoring and guiding many individuals in their spiritual journeys. Her caring nature and genuine approach inspired many, fostering a strong sense of community and connection that will live on in the many lives she touched.
Margaret's heart held a special place for her husband, Omer, where their story continued through Brentwood. Their love story was one of mutual respect and unwavering support, that flourished through the years, weaving their lives together in a tapestry of shared dreams and cherished moments. The family would like to thank all of the staff at Aspen Lake for their compassionate care and support shown to Margaret during her time there, especially to Shannon.
Family and friends are invited to gather directly at Our Lady of Atonement Parish, 2940 Forest Glade Dr., Windsor, on Friday, February 28, 2025 for a Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment to follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may made to Brentwood Recovery Home. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love she so freely gave to others.
