Obituary of Barbara Lampron

Passed away suddenly at the age of 74 on February 23, 2025. Beloved wife of 48 years to André. Cherished mother of Kimberley Alice and Katherine Deschamps (Christopher). Proud Mémé of Kerwin (Kitty), Guenevere, Rowan, Sawyer, Ephrim, Hannah, Calin. Adoring Mimi of great-granddaughter, Amelia. Loving sister of Leona (2022) (Leo, 1997), Randy Hines, and sister-in-law of Cecile, Jean, Gerard, and Maurice (2019) (Blanche). Dear aunt of David, Michael (Tracy); Godmother of Debra Letwin (John), and Great-aunt of Jenna. Dear second “Mom” of Tiffany Brennan. She will be missed by many extended family and friends.

Barbara was a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many with her kindness and thoughtfulness. She was our perfect gift-giver, always capable of finding just the right thing to express her love and appreciation. She was the epitome of resourcefulness and resilience. She approached challenges with a steadfast spirit, finding strength in her unwavering determination.

During her spare time, Barbara enjoyed gardening and tending to her plants, sewing and creating handcrafted original costumes and clothing, and becoming enthralled in her mystery novels. Above all, she cherished spending time with her beloved family, whose laughter and love filled her life with purpose and joy. Together, they shared memorable moments, family traditions, and lively discussions that will be deeply missed.

Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME - Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235) on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 4-7 pm. Words of Remembrance will take place at 6:00 pm. Cremation to follow. In kindness, donations in memory of Barbara may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
