Obituary of Lynn Morgan (nee La Rocque)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lynn Morgan, at the age of 63, on February 21, 2025. Lynn was a cherished wife, devoted mother, and a beloved nana, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Lynn shared her life’s journey with her soulmate of 37+ years, Dean Morgan. Together, they created a family and home filled with precious memories and an abundance of love. Loving Mother of Karly (Garson) Gural, Kodi (Josh) Synnott and Korey (Kelly Calvert) Morgan. Adoring Nana to Sullivan, Kennedy and Lyla, with two more grandbabies on the way. She was the daughter of the late Dr. Raymond and Jeannette La Rocque and daughter-in-law of the late Ian (Shirley Cassady) and Marilyn Morgan. Dear sister to Michael (late Marguerite) La Rocque, the late Gregg (Doris) La Rocque, Tim (Anesa) La Rocque, Steve (Jeanne) La Rocque, Chris (Kelly) La Rocque, Paulette (Bill) Spadafora, Pam (John) Rocca, Shari (Bobby) Burnett, Cindy (Mike) Barbuzzi, Paul (Amy Borysowytsch) and sister-in-law to the late Lance and Guy Morgan, Lauri Ouellette and Bradd Morgan. Survived by many nieces and nephews.

Lynn was a Registered Nurse, dedicating her life to caring for others, but found her true calling as Nana to her grandbabies whom she adored. She had a love for sports, an avid player of pickleball and tennis. She cherished her Tennis Crew and the Birthday Girls. Her presence was a source of encouragement for many; a true "matriarch" to all. Her legacy of caring will forever live on in the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Location, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., Windsor (519-253-7235) on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., with parish prayers at 7:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather directly at St. John Vianney Parish, 385 Dieppe St., on Thursday, February 27, 2025, for the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation of plasma to Canadian Blood Services in Lynn’s honour, a tribute that so beautifully reflects her nurturing spirit.
