Obituary of Lea-Ann Suzor

It is with profound sadness and much love that we mourn the sudden passing of Lea-Ann Suzor (nee Weir). She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her devoted husband of 42 years, Ken, her cherished son Kenny, daughter-in-law Jamie, and her precious grandchildren Colton, Greyson, and Makena.  Beloved daughter of Robert and Noreen Weir, and dear daughter-in-law of Ken and Mable Suzor. She was a loving sister and lifelong friend to Elaine and Rob (Cindy) and a treasured sister-in-law to Karen (Pat). Lea-Ann held a special place in the hearts of her nieces and nephews, her extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as many dear friends.

Lea-Ann was an exceptional person who gave freely of her gifts, caring deeply for those who meant the most to her. She was full of love and kindness, always generous with her time and talents. Her dedication extended beyond family, touching the lives of many through her community work and charitable efforts.

A woman of faith, she was an active member of The Church of St. David and St. Mark, where she served as the Rector’s Warden. She was also engaged in the Rotary Club Windsor-St. Clair, a member of Windsor Executives Association, and The Windsor Club.

As the founder of Festival Tent & Event Rentals, Lea-Ann built the business from the ground up. In recent years, she had begun taking more time to travel and enjoy life. Her creativity was evident in her passion for arts and crafts, her talent for painting beautiful watercolors, and in the care she poured into her breathtaking gardens.  

Lea passed away while doing something she loved—vacationing with her husband and friends.  She will be missed beyond measure.

A private funeral has taken place, a Celebration of Life will be held at Windsor Chapel - South Chapel 3048 Dougall Ave. Windsor, Ontario (519-253-7236) on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 2:00pm-6:00pm.
