Obituary of Mark Chafe

CHAFE, Mark Joseph, 67 years of age died at hospital from complications of cancer February 2, 2025. Born to Joe and Elaine(Nee Clayton) in Fort Erie Ontario. Survived by wife Thi Thu Ha Thai. Father to Jennifer, grandfather to Scarlett. Brother of Joanne Wright, Jane Chafe-Moote (Douglas), Michael Chafe (Monica). Brother in-law to Truoing Thai. Uncle of Michael Wright, Caitlin Wright, Michael Moote, Rachel Moote, Nova Chafe-Mohart. Great-uncle of, Selah, Soren, Winslow, Teddy and Murphy. Mark served in the Royal Canadian Air Force, attended St Clair College and worked many years at Plasman Manufacturing in Windsor, Ontario, earning an award for 25 years of perfect attendance. He was an avid sports fan and skilled golfer and billiard player, and a lover of animals. Mark possessed a generous spirit and love for his many friends and family. Arrangement entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. (519-253-7234). As per Mark's wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends invited to gather Monday February 10th, 2025 at Our Lady of the Atonement Church, 2940 Forest Glade Drive, for a Funeral Mass at 11:00am and a luncheon at the Caboto Club to follow.
