Obituary of Kalil Bahri

Kalil passed away suddenly at the age of 84 on January 28, 2025, at the London Health Sciences Centre. Survived by his beloved wife and best friend Jaqueline (Desjardins) with whom he shared 59 years of marriage. Loving dad to Jody (Paul) Langelier and Jill Bahri. Best loved Poppie to Lauren and Robyn and loved by grand-dogs CJ and Jasper. Survived by his loving sister Amelia (Bill) Chisholm, and brother Joseph (Judy) Bahri. Predeceased by parents Irene and Albert Bahri, brothers Mahlon Simon and Joseph Milton Simon and sister Barbara Clark. Survived by sister-in-law Joyce (Rick) Desjardins and brothers-in-law Ron Desjardins and John Desjardins. Predeceased by in-laws Adeline Wright, Joanne Doman, Sheila Desjardins, Gilbert Desjardins and Russell Desjardins. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Kalil served proudly in the Royal Canadian Navy for 5 years and loved being on the water. He liked to go on long walks, vacations to Myrtle Beach and playing the lottery.

In kindness, memorial donations to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.

The family would like to thank Dr. Bagherli, Dr, Anees, Dr. Pearce, and Dr. Tatlay who supported Kalil and took good care of him. Thank you to Kalil’s supportive neighbours Jamie and Sandy Grant, Rick and Debbie Leclair and Bernie and Doris Kelly.

At the family’s request, a private service and burial have taken place. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME - Banwell Chapel (519-253-7235).
