Obituary of Jill Alison Atherton (nee Cockbain)

Heaven has gained another amazing Angel. With broken hearts we announce the peaceful and sudden passing of Jill Alison Atherton (nee Cockbain) at the age of 81 years old on January 9/2025.

Jill is survived by her loving husband Richard Atherton of 57 years and her sister Peggy Dywelska (Paul). Forever missed by her daughter Susan Bondy(Ryan)and Predeceased by her daughter Margaret-Lyn Percy (Jody). Nana will be immensely missed by her grandchildren Noah Bondy (Brooke), Olivia Bondy (Kyle), Liam Percy, Gavin Percy and Aiden Percy. She will also be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews cousins and friends.

Jill was an Accountant and had worked for a trucking firm, a landscaping company and for a lawyers office during her career. She was a member of the red hats of Windsor. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She also loved to read, going on vacations and absolutely loved Christmas.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
