Obituary of Helen Demko (nee Kubani)

Passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025 at the age of 95 years. Beloved wife of the late John Demko (1990). Loving mother to Mary Ann Rae (Allan), Victor Demko (Marlene) and Linda Helou (Bassam). Cherished Baba of Pamela Rae Turner, Jeffery Arthur Rae, Nicholas Demko, Bryan Demko, Katherine Demko, Christen Helou and Norah Helou. Great-grandmother to Augustine “Gus” Turner, Margo Rae, Annie Rae, Derrick Demko and Nathan Demko.  Daughter of the late Nick and Mary Kubani. Dear sister of the late Anna Strunak and late Mary Ponic. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Helen was dedicated to her faith and a lifelong member of Saint Michaels Byzantine Catholic Church. Helen enjoyed spending time with her family. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Chapel Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
