I’m deeply sorry to hear of your passing. We had the opportunity to work together at Cessna Aircraft Company back in 2006–2007, and during that time I got to know you as a genuinely good person—someone I respected and appreciated. It’s strange how life works… you crossed my mind several times recently—just yesterday and earlier this month—and I even thought about reaching out. I didn’t have a specific reason, but now I wish I had made that call. You made a lasting impression, and you’ll be remembered for the kind of person you were. Karen, Emma and Madison, the Sleiman family are sending our heartfelt condolences. Sean was a wonderful human being! He was a great coach and mentor to the girls hockey, we all cherish those memories. Karen you were his rock, I love the story you tell on how you both meet, it makes us all smile. Sean brought so much joy to the office in Sterling Heights. He always had a smile, a wry joke, or words of encouragement for everyone in the office. He faced his illness with a bravery that should be inspirational to everyone; many people never even knew of the challenges that Sean had to face each day. We will all miss him for so many reasons - his memory will always be a blessing for those of us who knew him at Ground Effects.

The entire Ground Effects and IXS Families are deeply saddened to learn of our Friend's passing. As a Director, Sean was an amazing IT support for our entire team. However, more than that, Sean was a friend to so many here. He was always willing to go the extra mile to handle an issue that one of our employees was having. He excelled in his position. His positive attitude and determination were awe-inspiring to all of us. As the Chair of the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation, I also saw him first hand accepting the role of being an Ambassador for our Foundation. He made us all so very proud and thankful in his role. We are all still stunned in hearing that Sean has left us. We were all expecting him to leave the hospital this past Friday and we were all feeling so grateful for that. Karen, Emma, and Madison — we are heartbroken to hear of Sean’s passing. I will always cherish the time we spent with him on the bench. He was an incredible coach and a true mentor to all the girls he coached. He will forever be remembered as Coach and DJ Sean.
