Mr Clarkson was one of the best teachers to ever grace the halls of Prince Andrew. I had him for grade 1 and then again in grade 2. He was as kind as I was painfully shy; he wrote me letters when he was in hospital (my mom was his nurse) so I knew before any of my other classmates that we were getting a computer lab over the summer. He saw something in me and wanted my parents to skip me a grade both years I was in his class. They decided against it, but he did his best to encourage me. My son is almost identical to me, personality wise, and I can only hope that he gets his own Mr Clarkson one day.

My sincere condolences to Jim's family on his passing. I have many happy memories from my whole teaching career working with your Dad at Harrow Junior School and then at Prince Andrew Public School. He was very proud of his family and often shared stories of you three as you grew up! I'm sure he was a very proud Grandpa too!. Keep all the happy memories in your hearts and speak of him often!

To "Jim's" Children - my most heartfelt sympathies on the passing of your Dad. I met your Mom when she was Maid of Honour for your Aunt Yvette and through Aunt Yvette and Uncle Francois, I became acquainted with your Dad going back to when they all lived on Marion. May he rest in peace and may you all find peace. Marie Parent.
