I met "Mr. Mike" as I called him, in early 90's, through his son Jig (Mike Jr), and then I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Mike at St. Clair College Con Ed Dept when I started at the college. Mr. Mike has been a part of our lives for decades, and is someone both my husband Frank and I loved and looked up to. He had quite a sense of humour, and was a fun loving person. He always made me smile. Mr. Mike loved my mom's rolled grape leaves, and I would hook him up whenever I could. At the college, he was besties with all the folks in the Hairstyling Dept where his sister Vicky worked for many years. He always sported a fancy haircu from the SCC Hairstyling Dept. After retirement, Mr. Mike still came out to our pool leagues to visit and give out candy to us. I have many fond memories of Mr. Mike, and he will remain alive in our hearts. Frank and I also extend our deepest condolences to Mern, Mike and your entire family.

Mike Jr. and Mary Anne and families: I loved seeing that picture of Mike with his fish! It brings back so many memories. Not long ago, I was looking at pictures of Mike and Doug and the many fish they caught over the years. I have so many fond memories of all the times he was over to play Hand and Foot. I miss all our dinners together! Mike was a lovely man and I loved him so much. He and Doug made a great pair. I’m sure they are together now and have already gone fishing. I ’m so so sorry for your loss. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Yvonne Denomey
